Topography
This property is quite flat and slopes slightly downwards to the east, towards the nearby (about 1750’) Missinaibi River. It is mostly forested with poplar, birch and spruce. Although the area's forest was harvested 7 years ago, a new growth is thriving with many small trees and bushes. There is about a 25-acre clear area at the west side.
Recreation & Activities

Road access is easy, and even the larger town of Hearst is less than 30 kilometres away - provisions, medical supplies, groceries, banking and an airport is available for landing of small jet planes. These are excellent advantages whether you want to use this property as a hunting retreat or a quiet spot to retire.
The Missinaibi River (and the Missinaibi River Provincial Park which straddles it) are directly accessible over the Crown Land bounding the property to the east, with only a 5 minute walk to some of the best fishing of pike, pickerel, walleye. Shallow Lake is 1.5 km directly north by road. This opens up many recreational uses: canoeing, fishing, camping, just to name a few. This is also excellent hunting country, especially for bear and moose. And not to forget winter, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, and ice-fishing are just some of the activities popular in this area.
For nature lovers and wildlife photographers, a rare opportunity to observe and photograph moose, bear and other mammals, as well as waterbirds right at your doorstep.
