The north, east, and south sides of the property are bounded by Crown Land. This Crown Land is part of a vast tract which occupies about 75% of McCann Township and all of Tolstoi Township, which lies immediately south of the property. In fact, this continuous mass of Crown Land extends for several thousand square miles southward through Timiskaming District. Over a million acres of rural acreage abut this desirable property.

Located about a half mile, (less than a kilometer) from the Beaucoup Lakes with its rich wetlands, and about 4.3 mi.
